This 270 kl/d sewage treatment plant was built and commissioned in 2022. Part of the HWT service is a bi-annual checkup.

The sewage treatment plant is assembled in a collection of shipping containers.

Containerized sewage treatment plants are popular for mines due to several key advantages:

  1. Portability and Flexibility: They are compact and mobile, making them easy to transport to remote and temporary mining sites where conventional infrastructure is unavailable.
  2. Quick Setup: Mines often require fast deployment, and containerized plants come pre-assembled, allowing for rapid installation and operation.
  3. Durability: Built to withstand harsh environments, containerized plants are ideal for the rugged and often extreme conditions found at mining sites, ensuring reliable wastewater treatment.

Their modularity and efficiency make them a practical choice for mining operations.
